EndNote Guides (UM)

EndNote is a tool that allows you to collect bibliographic references and put them in the body of a paper and in a reference list in a desired citation format. In this guide, you'll learn how to use EndNote Desktop’s general functions.

CWYW Useful Functions

In general. you can insert citations starting from CWYW or EndNote desktop.

Please do not delete the in-text citations with backspace on the keyboard, or delete them directly. Go to CWYW > Edit & Manage Citation(s) > Insert / remove citations.

Convert to Plain Text helps to create a copy of text-only file without field codes. This may required by the publisher or easy for sharing.

Moreover, with plain text file, you can edit contents that EndNote didn't help.

How to create a reference list? Read the following steps for reference.

If you'd like to group the bibliographies in the reference list by reference type. See the following picture or the video.
