EndNote Guides (UM)

EndNote is a tool that allows you to collect bibliographic references and put them in the body of a paper and in a reference list in a desired citation format. In this guide, you'll learn how to use EndNote Desktop’s general functions.

Set up Find Full Text

EndNote offers the function to find full text via Web of Science Full Text Links, PubMed LinkOut, DOI and OpenURL. Go to Preferences > Find Full Text to set up this function. Check all four boxes. Input the OpenURL and authentication URL shown as below. Then click Apply. Read this feature in Chinese

Notes:

1). Please do not select all references from the same database. It may cause excessively download alert from the database.

2). Find Full Text is not compatible with some providers. Such as EBSCO, JSTOR, OpenAthens, Wiley, ScienceDirect, etc.
