Why we have to sign the “Reader data transfer declaration”for borrowing service?

為何使用借書服務前要填妥“讀者資料轉移聲明”？

As the University Library system has been upgraded, all library users are required to read and fill in the declaration at the relevant webpage (MY LIBRARY ACCOUNT at account.icto.um.edu.mo). Readers' data (such as user account, user account code, patron type, patron name, email address, faculty/unit) will be transferred to overseas cloud servers for working storage. If you did not sign this declaration, the library system did not have data for processing.

由於大學圖書館系統已升級，全體讀者須於有關網頁(MY LIBRARY ACCOUNT at account.icto.um.edu.mo)閱讀及填妥聲明，讀者資料然後會轉移至國外雲端服務器供系統備用。若閣下沒填妥聲明，圖書館系統便沒有資料可用作處理。
